Lately the only things I’ve been posting here are memes. Anyway, I’ve actually done something similar in my old blog so I just copied and pasted seven items for this post. :)

1. I was named after a song. Go figure out which one.
2. The longest I’ve gone without sleeping is four days (3 nights). The longest I’ve gone without eating is three days.
3. I’m a certified open water SCUBA diver, but I don’t know how to swim.
4. I had a pet fish named Fish, who is now buried somewhere in the Kamia garden. I’ve never had any other pets. I don’t like pets. I don’t like kids either :P
5. I worked in a nuclear research facility for 2 months and in a planetarium for a month.
6. The very first book I read was Pilar Caterpillar. It was a counting book. I was 3 and surprised everybody by reading the book out loud. Except I wasn’t really reading. I loved the book so much, I had it memorized. Haha.
7. Like Marc, I identify vegetables by their Latin names before I eat them. Been doing that since Bio 11.

Only in the Philippines!

And again, I’ve been tagged.  This one I have to finish today because it’s an Independence Day meme and there are only several hours left to celebrate The Day, which we shouldn’t actually be celebrating anymore today because we had the entire day yesterday to celebrate it, which is weird since yesterday wasn’t the date when our “Independence” was declared. Holiday economics. A phrase that I think exists Only in the Philippines.

So what are the rules? People who are tagged are supposed to download the front and back photos of an old postcard that Markku and Joey found in a friend’s house last weekend, write a note in it as they would on a regular postcard, and post it in their blog with the title “Only in the Philippines.”

Done.

Next, they’re supposed to tag five people to do the same.

Okay, since it’s almost seven and I’m in a little bit of a hurry, I leave it to the readers of this blog (if indeed there are any) to download, write, post, and circulate this meme.

Weirdness

Each player of this games starts with 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

Thing is, I’m odd and so is everything about me, so I found it extremely difficult to pick which six weird things to write about. Haha.

1. I like old, pre-owned books better than new ones. The new books may smell better but the used books have character.
2. When I read a magazine, I first browse through all the pages, front to back, before reading the articles, back to front.
3. This I noticed a few weeks ago while making a report: when typing (probably even when writing) I say aloud what I’m putting down. I think this might be weird and distracting to the person whose desk is beside mine. :D
4. I sometimes talk to myself, even in public. I don’t do it on purpose, it just happens. Hihi.
5. I skip, again unconsciously, when I’m happy or excited.
6. Thanks to Hana for this: I want the right wrong guy but I always end up with the wrong wrong guy. Haha.
